Did I just see some heart from Michigan State on both sides of the ball. After being down 38-3, midway through the 3rd quarter, they pulled off an impressive comeback.
A field goal with 10 seconds to go left the Spartans up 41-38 in the end.
Heart. I almost forgot what that looked like.

Would you say it was 1998 heart or 2000 heart? Or can we not even compare because basketball heart is different than football heart?

i think a heart is a heart so they can be compared and it was more like 1996 heart. you want to feel good, but in the end tk and ray weathers just won't get it done. maybe the following year we can see mateen heart.
so if it was 1996 heart, does that mean in 4 years we'll have 2000 heart? just a thought... 2010 National Champs for football, I'd laugh.
oh brooke...i love the logic. normally i would agree, but i don't see a mateenesque player. but now that i think about it, maybe keith nichol will be that guy. good call. you are smart. the only logical and reasonable conclusion to this heart discussion is the spartans will win the national championship in 2010. we all heard it here first on the blog alliance.
I would say it was almost "Good Friday for Drinking" heart. It was so good to see.
You can't compare it to a whole year of heart, since the Spartans haven't even tried since the Notre Dame game.
Just my opinion, which we all know is meaningless.
