AZ must be super duper happy today, or tomorrow officially.
The Detroit Lions are shipping Cornerback Dre Bly to the Denver Broncos. in exchange, they get Running Back Tatum Bell, out of Oklahoma State (a school in which AZ enjoys) and Offensive Tackle George Foster, from Georgia. There is also a draft pick involved which is rumored to be a fifth rounder.
With a new running back and an offensive lineman, the Lions have opened up the number 2 pick in the draft. We should be hearing either: "With the second pick in the draft the Detroit Lions select......Calvin Johnson, wide receiver out of Georgia Tech", or "With the second pick in the draft the Detroit Lions select......JaMarcus Russell, quarterback out of LSU".
I know, selecting a wide receiver is insane. However, when a super-human being like Calvin Johnson is available, you take him. Besides, who wants to see Mike Furry as the number two receiver? Not me.

everything you said is true. dre bly is a douche. i'm glad he is gone. i like the cowboys. taking calvin johnson would be sweet. mike furry was on my fantasy team and i refused to use him as my number two receiver. it cost me a game once too. but i stick to my convictions...that's how i roll.
I think they'll use the pick on a QB now that they got a right tackle. Martz can turn any old journeyman wide receiver (who's not a retard) into a 1,000-yard receiver.
