My count is four.
Four hands Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker took off with his Lightsaber.
He took off both of Count Dooku’s right before he beheaded him. He knocked off Mace Windu’s right hand, and then the Emperor killed him while yelling, “Unlimited power!” Finally, Vader took Luke’s right hand right before telling him he is his father.
It must be Vader’s Lightsaber signature move; flip his opponents Lightsaber away and then a swift upper cut to the hand, leaving his foe lightsaberless and defenseless.
The only person I remember seeing Vader kill without doing that was Obi Wan and Ben didn’t even put up that big of a fight.
Well-done Vader. Too bad you couldn’t upper cut the rebellion like that, because maybe the Sith would still rule the galaxy today. Nonetheless, hooray for the rebellion. Tyranny is no good.
